Captions are essential because, in many cases, it may be the first thing a new person sees related to your practice.
It’s hard to know what to write, how long your caption should be, or the correct tone to use.
"I attribute my growth to what I'm doing with The Smart Chiropractor."

The good news is that sharing a bit of your personality and having some fun is a great way to liven up your Facebook and Instagram Pages.
Here are a few of our favorite chiropractic social media caption ideas that you can start using today.
Show Your Appreciation for Your Patients
You probably have a few long time patients in your practice.
These are “your people” – the ones who come consistently, refer others, and genuinely love your team.
Your appreciation for these patients should not go unrecognized.
Using your social media channels to share these patients’ stories is a great way to build additional trust in your community.
Next time they come in, snap a picture with them and write a caption explaining how much you love having them in your practice.
Be sure to share anything unique about your relationships with them, and it doesn’t have to be clinical.
Maybe it’s a sports rivalry or their favorite part of being part of your practice.
This shows that you care about people – not just your practice.
Here is an example…
“Here at PRACTICE NAME, we are incredibly grateful for patients like PATIENT NAME. PATIENT NAME has been coming into our practice since 2017, and we always look forward to seeing HIM/HER. PATIENT NAME says their favorite part of our practice is how they feel after getting adjusted by Dr. NAME.”
Give the Gift of Endorsement by Shouting Out a Local Business
One of the most effective ways to reach new people and grow your audience is by showing support for other businesses in your community.
Is there a health food store or coffee shop that you visit each week?
If so, take a picture, post the photo to your Facebook or Instagram page, and be sure to tag the business.
By tagging their business, they will get a notification letting them know about your post, and there is a good chance that they will then share your post with their audience giving it more exposure and reach!
This is also a great idea to implement with your referral partners.
If another healthcare provider is getting care in your practice, ask if it’s ok that you take a picture and post it to your page.
Let them know that you’ll tag their practice, which will get them free promotion to your audience.
When they refer patients to your practice, take a quick selfie and tag them in the caption, thanking them for the referral.
Here is an example…
“Getting coffee from our favorite shop COFFEE SHOP NAME to get us ready for a great day of seeing patients in our practice. I’d personally recommend the hot mocha! Comment below with your favorite drink from COFFEE SHOP.”
How to Tag Another Business on Facebook/Instagram
- Choose your image, and when typing your caption, tap “@”.
- Type of the name of the business or person (no spaces) you would like to tag.
- As you type, a drop-down menu of options will appear.
- Click or tap the name of the correct person/business to tag them.
Now you are ready to post!
Tagging the person or business on your post also allows your audience to click their name and be brought to their page.
Don’t Be Afraid to Get Personal
Social media is a great place to show the personal, human side of your practice.
Even if you do a great job making an empathic connection during your patients’ appointments, you’re still missing an opportunity to show people what happens behind the scenes and the passion you and your team have for their health.
When a patient feels personally connected to you and your team, they are much more likely to become loyal, long-term patients.
Show your audience the fun that you have in practice.
Do you have lunch together?
Is it a team member’s birthday?
These are all great reasons to take a quick picture and show the human side of your practice.
Here’s an example…
“Everyone join me in wishing TEAM MEMBER NAME a special happy birthday! TEAM MEMBER NAME has been with PRACTICE NAME since 2017 and we can’t imagine our practice without HIM/HER greeting our patient each morning at the front desk!”
Showing Gratitude to Your Team
Celebrating a birthday isn’t the only time you can highlight your gratitude for a team member.
You can use your social account to tell your audience about all of the hard work they put in to keep your practice running each day.
Don’t be afraid to celebrate your team members online!
Showing gratitude will show your patients and audience that your practice has a caring, “all-in” team that helps them achieve their health goals.
Your audience appreciates seeing your team members’ highlights, but it will also help you build internal rapport.
Most people love being complimented, and doing so publicly is a great way to accomplish some additional internal team building.
Here’s an example…
“Say hi to TEAM MEMBERS NAME! Each day they work hard to serve our patients. Thank you for everything you do TEAM MEMBERS NAME, our practice wouldn’t be the same without you!”
